On 5 April 2017, ping launched an online video sensation entitled "Second Chance".
Here's 3 Reasons Why You'll Want To Watch Our “Second Chance” Video Once, Twice Or Even Thrice.
REASON 1- You'll Understand The Problem
Distracted driving causes 25% of all car crashes. A distracted driver focusing more on his phone than on the road is every person’s concern. A teenage child texting and messaging while driving is every parent’s nightmare. Texting, emailing, WhatsApping and generally messaging while behind the wheel kills too many people.
We launched the video "Second Chance" as a high impact campaign designed to raise the profile of distracted driving globally. Distracted driving is already reaching epidemic proportions overtaking alcohol as a leading casue of death behind the wheel.
REASON 2- You'll Discover A Solution
There is a safe solution to this problem, a fully legal technology that meets all of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) guidelines.
This solution is our mobile app. It's a safe-driving app that is easy to use, costs very little.
REASON 3- You'll See How YOU Can Be Part Of The Solution
We believe every driver with a smartphone should use our app. We believe that THE major players – cities, insurance companies, car manufacturers, rental car companies – will take notice. We aim to create partnerships that will allow us to embed safe driving culture at an institutional level, using our best-of-class app.
That's THE solution- a vision of a world of safer, more responsible drivers who realize they hold their lives and the lives others in their hands every time they use a phone behind the wheel.
