Here is a description of our pricing:
1. Text messages / SMS are always free, forever.
2. The fully functional version, that reads email and all other message types aloud, is a free trial for 14 days from download. Thereafter there is a low monthly/annual fee on subscription from the Google Play Store. That subscription is activated after the free trial or when you first sign up.
You can cancel your subscription at any time.
